Prove-It Mini
Pytest Stop hook for Claude Code: two repair attempts, then "NOT verified".
olegtestov/prove-it-mini · v1.0.0 · Development & Workflow
Prove-It Mini is a pytest Stop hook for Claude Code. When the agent tries to finish after changing code, it runs your test command. Red tests block the stop and hand the failure back to the agent, at most 2 times. If tests are still red, the agent may stop, and you see "NOT verified" instead of a quiet "done". Changed or deleted test files are named on every outcome, and green states are remembered, so tests don't rerun on every message. No signup, no reviewer model, Python standard library only, MIT. Recorded example (Claude Haiku 4.5): the agent said "Done" with 1 of 3 new tests failing; the gate blocked once, the agent fixed it, and tests went green in 13 seconds. Limits: passing tests don't prove the code is correct; test edits are flagged, not prevented. Install in Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add OlegTestov/prove-it-mini, then /plugin install prove-it-mini@prove-it-mini, then run /prove-it-mini:setup once in each repo. Needs git, Python 3.9+ and pytest; macOS or Linux (Windows via WSL).
