Launch story: OpenCode Hush

OpenCode Hush

A minimal sidebar plugin for OpenCode that brings essential session telemetry into one quiet, native-looking panel.

Hush displays context pressure, the current Git branch, the model, family cost, processed and cached tokens, session age, and active reasoning state. It also surfaces session state, pending permissions or forms, active tools, and recent execution errors when OpenCode provides them.

Missing values stay hidden. Hush uses data from OpenCode's local plugin context and host store; it does not estimate metrics or make external telemetry calls. Values in the README screenshot are illustrative examples, not a record of a specific session.

Install: run opencode plugin add opencode-hush. Hush requires Node.js 22.18+ and OpenCode 2.1.x. Restart OpenCode after installing. The first load can take close to a minute while the host downloads and precompiles the plugin.
