Add Guard coverage for your tool
Check whether coverage already exists for your tool. If it does, claim it or improve it; if it does not, the offline Extension Builder generates a reviewable kit from your CLI surface.
Search existing coverage
Start with your tool’s name — the catalog, its 69 entries, and the claim rules stay open to everyone.
- 1PrepareGenerate a kit from your CLI surface with the offline builder.
- 2Test locallyValidate the kit and prove the coverage stays inert until a local-admin enable.
- 3Submit for reviewOpen a pull request with the contribution file, trust-class map entry, and detector.
- 4Claim after mergeOnce merged and live in the catalog, claim the publisher page.
What contribution means
- The detector must live in the Guard repository — Guard never downloads contribution code.
- Contributed coverage ships as external: listed, but off until a local admin enables it.
- After a qualifying merge you can claim the publisher page and publish a setup guide — no purchase required.
