Write, rewrite, or review prompts with CoMPaSS, an analysis-first prompting technique for consequential deliverables, decisions, and agent briefs. It first analyzes the user's Action, Intention, Deliverable/Decision, and Efficient path, applies tier and ambiguity gates, then assembles Mission, Provisions, Scope, and Success spec, adding order of operations or anchors only when their triggers fire. Use when asked for a high-stakes prompt, a system or task prompt, an agent or subagent brief, or a decision prompt where misreading intent is costly, or when the user mentions CoMPaSS, analysis-first prompting, or prompt success criteria. Not for trivial or factual questions, or requests that already state purpose, audience, and format: answer directly or use ART or RTF.
