Answer in brief
CVE-2021-47137 records a Critical severity (CVSS 9.8) vulnerability in net: lantiq: fix memory corruption in RX ring. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps Linux/Linux (generic), Linux/Linux (generic), linux/linux_kernel (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 9.8. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lantiq: fix memory corruption in RX ring In a situation where memory allocation or dma mapping fails, an invalid address is programmed into the descriptor. This can lead to memory corruption. If the memory allocation fails, DMA should reuse the previous skb and mapping and drop the packet. This patch also increments rx drop counter.
