Answer in brief
CVE-2022-49127 records a High severity (CVSS 7.0) vulnerability in ref_tracker: implement use-after-free detection. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps Linux/Linux (generic), Linux/Linux (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 7.0. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ref_tracker: implement use-after-free detection Whenever ref_tracker_dir_init() is called, mark the struct ref_tracker_dir as dead. Test the dead status from ref_tracker_alloc() and ref_tracker_free() This should detect buggy dev_put()/dev_hold() happening too late in netdevice dismantle process.
