Answer in brief
CVE-2025-15631 records a Medium severity (CVSS 5.7) vulnerability in Weak Credential Storage in TP-Link Omada Devices. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps TP Link Systems Inc./Omada Access Points (generic), TP-Link Systems Inc./Omada Gateways (generic), TP-Link Systems Inc./Omada OLTs (generic), TP-Link Systems Inc./Omada Switches (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 5.7. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

A cryptographic weakness exists in affected Omada devices where site credentials are protected using a legacy hashing algorithm that does not provide sufficient protection. An attacker who obtains access to stored credential data may be able to recover valid credentials to gain unauthorized access to affected devices or management environments.
