Answer in brief
CVE-2026-110926 records a Medium severity (CVSS 5.3) vulnerability in Openssh: openssh: shared lz77 compression dictionary leaks plaintext across channels. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps Red Hat/openshell (generic), Red Hat/openssh (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.

A flaw was found in OpenSSH. When compression is negotiated, channels on the same connection share one LZ77 dictionary. A peer who can write on one channel can recover plaintext from another channel by chosen-plaintext lengths.
