Answer in brief
CVE-2026-112060 records a Medium severity (CVSS 6.1) vulnerability in librtmp (RTMPDump) through 2.6 Heap Out-of-Bounds Write via AMF3_Decode. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps RTMPDump/librtmp (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.

HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 6.1. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

librtmp in RTMPDump through 2.6 contains an out-of-bounds read and heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability because AMF3_Decode ignores AMF3 property decode failures. Malicious RTMP servers or man-in-the-middle attackers can send oversized AMF3 string lengths, and with the token option DecodeTEA corrupts heap memory and leaks heap bytes.
