Answer in brief
CVE-2026-16232 records a Critical severity (CVSS 9.1) vulnerability in Authentication Bypass in the SmartConsole Login Process Using an Application Token. The current sources mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps checkpoint/Multi-Domain Security Management (generic), checkpoint/Quantum Security Management (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 9.1. Known-exploitation status makes exposure review time-sensitive. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

Evidence: source:kev:kev:kev:recordAn authentication bypass vulnerability in the Check Point SmartConsole login process allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to obtain an application login token and use it to authenticate with full administrative privileges. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to modify security policies and security configurations. Remote exploitation requires internet access to the Management Server IP address and a configuration that does not restrict Trusted Clients. Check Point is aware that this vulnerability is being exploited and has affected a very small number of customers.
