Answer in brief
CVE-2026-41879 records a High severity (CVSS 8.2) vulnerability in Weak password hashing in R-SOFT DMS. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps R-SOFT SERWIS/DMS (generic). Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 8.2. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

R-SOFT DMS stores superadmin credentials using a non-salted nested MD5 hash. This allows an attacker who obtain password hash to decode superadmin credentials. Critically, this password cannot be changed except by modifying the configuration file. This issue was fixed in version v3.17-2000.
