A backend user with permission to edit indexer configurations can index documents from arbitrary locations on the server file system through path traversal sequences. This has been patched in versions 7.0.1, 6.6.1, 5.6.2 and 4.6.7.
Update tpwd/ke_search to 4.6.7; tpwd/ke_search to 7.0.1; tpwd/ke_search to 6.6.1; tpwd/ke_search to 5.6.2 if you use the affected versions. Test the change in a non-production environment first.
