Answer in brief
CVE-2026-73584 records a Unknown severity vulnerability in Sblim-sfcb: sblim-sfcb: privileged file corruption and denial of service via insecure temporary file handling. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Affected software not mapped in the current feed; confirm the named product and version against your inventory.
Analysis pending evidence review
HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
A CVSS score is not reported in the current record. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

A flaw was found in sblim-sfcb. A local, low-privileged attacker can exploit a race condition during privileged instance migration by manipulating a temporary file in the `/tmp` directory. By repeatedly recreating a symbolic link, the attacker can redirect privileged output to an arbitrary file. This can lead to privileged file corruption or a denial of service (DoS) on the system.
