Free preflight: inspect a public HTTPS payment endpoint without an account, wallet or payment. Try this deliberate negative example: curl https://scvd.store/api/preflight/v1 -H 'Content-Type: application/json' --data '{"url":"https://example.com"}' Observed Oct 2, 2026, 19:59:07 UTC: verdict not_ready, reached_level L1. The target returned HTTP 200 instead of 402. status-402 failed; payment-required-header, x402-version and accepts were not_reached. The check worked; this ordinary page supplied no payment challenge. A fresh run is a new observation. The v1 battery checks 402 status, a parseable PAYMENT-REQUIRED header, x402 version 2, and required accepts fields/types. Read advisories and version comparisons too. Limits: unsigned; no offer-signature verification, payment, settlement, delivery or uptime check. Ready is not permission to spend or a guarantee.
