Answer in brief
CVE-2026-115456 records a Low severity (CVSS 3.7) vulnerability in Gcc: out-of-bounds read in std::from_chars. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. The current feed maps Red Hat/gcc (generic), Red Hat/gcc13 (generic), Red Hat/gcc-toolset-14-gcc (generic), Red Hat/gcc-toolset-15-gcc (generic) and additional mapped packages. Check affected ranges and fixed versions before updating.

HOL Guard separates source facts from reviewed analysis. See the methodology.
CVSS is 3.7. The current sources do not mark it as known exploited. Treat this as a source-backed prioritization signal, not a statement about your environment.

A flaw was found in gcc. An attacker could cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by passing a string that is not null-terminated to the std::from_chars() function in the libstdc++ library. This issue triggers an out-of-bounds read beyond the allocated buffer, potentially leading to invalid data parsing or an application crash.
