Xcode's build, tests, console and SwiftUI previews inside Claude Code

Claude Code can build, test and preview your iOS app through Xcode's MCP server, but you only see raw tool output. To check what broke, which test failed or how the view looks, you still switch to Xcode. xcode-mods puts Xcode's feedback loop next to the chat. A toolbar band above the prompt shows scheme and destination pickers, live activity and error, warning and failed-test counters. The Xcode pane has Build, Run and Tests tabs: live build progress with clickable issues, tests grouped by suite with failures first, and streaming stdout and OSLog. The Canvas pane shows SwiftUI previews that re-render after Claude edits the file. Press x in any tab to send errors, failures, console or layout to Claude to fix. It also tracks Claude's own Xcode calls, so you see what the agent does as it happens. Requires Xcode 27+ and Claude Code 2.1.286+.
